| 1970 Mercury Cyclone Spoiler (1491) SOLD!!!C code 429 C.I.-4V CJ/370 H.P. C6 Merc-o-matic transmission, 3.00 traction lok differential, power steering, power disc brakes, tint glass, factory AM radio, front and rear spoilers, dual color keyed racing mirrors, full factory custom gauge package and ice cold factory A/C. All riding on BF Goodrich white letter radial TAs mounted on chrome Magnum 500 wheels. Laser straight diamond finish correct Competition yellow exterior with beautiful black bucket seat console interior. This is an extremely rare car. Only 1,631 Cyclone spoilers were built and only 268 were Competition yellow. This according to the Marti report from Ford Motor Company to prove this is the real deal. Very, very few of these cars have survived in todays collector car market so most people don’t know what they are and are extremely surprised when the car blows their SS Chevelle, GTO, etc… away in the quarter mile by 2.5 cars. These cars would run 14.10s on bia ply street tires right off the showroom floor in 1970. This ultra rare superstar was treated to a big dollar restoration and was the talk of many car shows and cruise nights.
