It was a new body style and truthfully not everyone was in love with it that’s why less than 3000 total GTX cars were built in 1971. It was also the last year for a 440 six pack and also a hemi in all mopars. According to Galen Govier who decoded this car and placed it in the Galen Registry there were only 135 71 440 six packs built. 62 4 speeds and 73 automatics. As of December 2009 he only has 6 in his registry. Galen’s registry and decoding paperwork will go with the car to the lucky new owner. The collectors and muscle car enthusiast are seeing the prices of really, really nice cars starting to creep up. The days of falling values, fire sales, desperation and bottom feeder bargains are gone (This only applies to the really, really nice cars). This is your chance to grab a real V code six pack that has nowhere to go but up in the future. It is believed that less than 50% of the 62 4 speeds are left and only a small handful are ever offered for sale. The keywords in the collector car world are rare and real. 440 six pack, pistol grip 4 speed, 410 Dana super track pak, only 62 built, and Galen Govier paperwork. What more could you want? Its drop dead gorgeous and has balls big enough to come in a dump truck. Don’t sleep at the lights on this one. Click to see more photos CALL NOW!!!!!
